Nick Martinez
The Bob and JoAnn Martinez Scholarship for the Arts was established by Nick Martinez, a proud member of Teamsters Local 70 (inactive), following in the footsteps of his parents, Bob and JoAnn Martinez. Inspired by their dedication and hard work, which helped shape his own journey to becoming a filmmaker, Nick created this scholarship to support the next generation of creative minds. As a Teamster, he understands the importance of perseverance, community, and the value of hard work—principles that he hopes will inspire young artists to pursue their passions and thrive in their artistic careers. This scholarship is a tribute to the legacy of Teamsters Local 70 and the enduring impact of his parents' contributions.
